Paul Clifford Rummans' Obituary
Paul Clifford Rummans, age 85 of Cincinnati, Iowa died Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Centerville Nursing and Rehab, Centerville, Iowa.
He was born to Fred and Bertha (Blake) Rummans on March 21, 1930 in Mitchellville, Iowa. Paul graduated from Bondurant High School. He married Hazel Irene Leeper on July 29, 1948 in Bondurant, Iowa.
Paul worked for Armstrong Rubber for 30 years, and farmed for many years. He loved to camp, and enjoyed carpentry.
Paul is survived by his wife, Hazel, his three children Dave Gene (Joann) Rummans of Cincinnati, Iowa, Russell Ray (Ellie) Rummans of Cincinnati, Iowa, and Peggy Sue Kent of West Des Moines, Iowa, A brother Lee (Elva) Rummans of Rogers, Arkansas, 21 Grandchildren, and 53 Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brother Dale (Gwen) Rummans, and a son Steve Rummans.
Graveside services will be held at 12 p.m. Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Mitchellville Franklin Cemetery in Mitchellville, Iowa. A visitation will be held Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Lange Funeral Home in Centerville, with the family greeting friends from 6-8PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to the family of Paul Rummans and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa 52544.
