Paul Allen Hayden's Obituary
Paul Hayden, 57, of Corydon passed away January 16, 2017 at his home. Paul was born to Earl & Edna (Clark) Hayden in Putnam County on April 3, 1957. He received his education from Putnam High School. Paul was a handyman; he worked numerous types of construction throughout his life. He loved wrenching on cars, fishing, taking road trips and spending time with his family and friends. Paul was a prankster, always playing jokes on people. He was known by his family as an "Ornery Old Fart". Survivors include five children: Shawn Johanes of Austin, Texas, Josh Hayden (Candice) of Spencer, Iowa, Amanda Elder of Spencer, Iowa, Jeremy Hayden (Jessica) of Humphry, Missouri, Lacey Caudill (Adam) of Wheeling, Missouri, 20 grandchildren, two siblings, Bobby Hayden (Michelle) of Corydon and Larry Hayden (Barbara) of Corydon. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers; Earl Wayne and Frank Lewis Hayden, two nieces; Charlene Kay Hayden and Hailey Lewis. Funeral service will be Friday, January 20, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Thomas Funeral Home in Corydon. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Ravanna Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the family and condolences may be shared at www.thomasfh.com.
