Paul Dean Burkland's Obituary
Paul Dean Burkland was born on March 11, 1958 to Donald and Leta Potter Burkland in Gary, IN and passed away suddenly at home on Dec. 4th 2024.
Paul graduated from PCHS in 1976 and attended IHCC and NMSU. He owned Paul's Pipe and Coin in Kirksville for a number of years. A few years ago he retired back to Unionville.
Paul is survived by sisters, Melinda Burkland Kottman(Dave), Oshkosh, WI; Melody Torrey, Unionville, MO; and Melissa Torrey Nemmers (Steve), Olathe, KS. He is further survived by one nephew, three nieces, three great-nieces and three great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Donald Burkland, Leta Torrey and step-dad Fred Torrey.
As per wishes, he will be cremated. A visitation will be held at Thomas Funeral Home in Unionville Sunday, December 8, 2024 from 1:00 - 2:00pm. Burial will be at a later date at Unionville Cemetery. Memorials may be given to Unionville Cemetery and can be mailed to Thomas Funeral Home, ATTN: Burkland Family, 709 27th Street, Unionville, Missouri 63565.
