Paul A. Baugher's Obituary
Paul A. Baugher, age 84, of Cincinnati, Iowa, died Sunday, March 13, 2005, in Cincinnati, Iowa as the result of injuries he received in a tractor accident on his farm. Paul was born the son of the late Andrew W. Baugher and the late Amy (Mercer) Baugher on January 21, 1921 in Mendota, Missouri. He attended Putnam County Schools through the ninth grade.On December 19, 1939, Paul was united in marriage to Ruth Collier in Centerville, Iowa. Paul was engaged in farming and was also a millright at Curwood and Union Carbide. He also worked as a carpenter and coal miner. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Centerville, Iowa.Paul was preceded in death by: his parents; brothers Ted, Lee, Ray, and Russell Baugher and an infant brother; sisters Leta Wilson, Agnes Courtois, Ella Skowba and Lena Summerton.Paul is survived by: his wife Ruth Baugher of Cincinnati, Iowa; son Ted Baugher and his wife Sherry of Lincoln, Nebraska; daughters Sherrill Baugher of Cincinnati, Iowa and Deborah Pankey and her husband Sam of Huntsville, Alabama; sister Atha Steffan of Arpin, Wisconsin; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 18, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with Pastor Mike Carner officiating. Burial will follow at the Friendship Cemetery near Mendota, Missouri.
