Patrick Junior Kelly's Obituary
Pat Kelly, age 60 of Corydon passed away from complications of pneumonia at University Hospital in Columbia, Missouri on September 30, 2021.
Patrick Junior Kelly was born on May 8, 1961 in Leon, Iowa to Thomas A Junior and Jeannette (Dicks) Kelly. Pat had one brother Tim. He attended schools in Wayne County and graduated from Wayne Community High School with the class of 1979. He was united in marriage to Brenda Marie Little on December 17, 1983 at the New Zion Church. They had two daughters: Tanya and Michelle.
Pat was an avid outdoorsman; he loved farming, hunting, fishing, rodeoing, breaking horses, and running a dozer. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and he had a special place in his heart for his grandchildren. Pat was proud to work for the Wayne County Secondary Roads Department, with a great group of guys that laughed, teased, and joked with each other.
Pat is survived by his wife Brenda Kelly, daughters: Tanya Boggs (Mike) and Michelle Kelly (Jacob Miner), grandchildren: Thomas Boggs, Dawn Boggs, and Tristan Kelly, brother Tim Kelly (Cindy), mother Jeannette Kelly, nephew Tanner Kelly ( Hannah), nieces: Sarah Kelly and Amber Kelly, and numerous extended family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Junior Kelly and his grandparents.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Thomas Funeral Home in Corydon with Pastor Diane Olson Schroeder officiating. Interment will immediately follow the service at the Evergreen Cemetery in Lineville. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 4, 2021 with family present to greet friends from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at Thomas Funeral Home.
