Patricia Ann McDanel's Obituary
Patricia (Patty) Ann (Clark) McDanel, age 82, of Moravia, departed this earth on the 25th day of July, 2014 at the Centerville Nursing and Rehab Center in Centerville, Iowa.
She was born June 16th, 1932 in Centerville, Iowa, the daughter of Earthel (Corporan) & Walter Clark. She was raised in Centerville, Iowa and moved to Moravia following her marriage to Robert Wayne McDanel. They were married on February 9th, 1955 at the bride's parents' home. She worked at Chamberlin's in Albia and was a homemaker. She was a member of the V.F. W. Auxiliary & American Legion in Moravia, and a member of The Light of Life Church in Moravia. She was a 20 yr. member of the Moravia Fall Festival Committee, and coordinated the Moravia City Wide Rummage Sales for many years.
Patty is survived by children: Debora (Roy) Fry of Moravia, Bobby (Penny) McDanel of Moravia; Grandchildren: Gary (Angel) Krewson of Moravia, Shawna (Benjamin)Hoven of Moravia, Houston (Haley) Fry of Centerville, Christopher McDanel of Moravia; Great-Grandchildren: Joseph Hoven, Michael Brownlee, Kira & Bradley Krewson and brothers Earnest and Bill (Gladys) Clark.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Wayne McDanel, brothers: Walter (Tuffy) and Walton Clark, Donald Clark, Alan Clark; Sister: Carolyn (Clark) Abbott.
Funeral services will be held at 10AM, Tuesday, July 29th, 2014 at the Light of Life Church in Moravia with Pastor Dennis Doud officiating. A fellowship gathering will be held immediately following the service at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to the Light of Life Church and may be mailed to either the church (411 N. William St., Moravia, Iowa 52571) or to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa 52544. Condolences may be shared online at www.langefh.com.
