Patricia Casey's Obituary
Patricia Ann (Cox) Casey, youngest daughter of Raymond and Nellie (Ondoroff) Cox was born August 26, 1961 and died on December 3, 2011 after a long battle with cancer. Patty had two older brothers, Jerry and Steve. She grew up in Corydon and spent most of her life there. She graduated from Wayne High School in 1979. On December 15, 1979 Patty was united in marriage to James Casey of Corydon. Three sons, Bradley James (B. J.), Trevor, and Anthony were born to this union. When she was a young child she had open-heart surgery, but she overcame that and enjoyed a good life. After a back injury, she spent several years working at New Focus in Centerville with the mentally challenged. Patty was an avid animal lover. She loved spending time with her family and pets. She was a member of the Corydon Legion Auxiliary. Her sons B. J. and Anthony and her older brother Jerry preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband James, son Trevor, parents Raymond and Nellie Cox, brother Steve Cox and wife Cheryl, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews and a host of other family and friends.
