Pat Cisler's Obituary
Patricia Ann Cisler, 86 of Centerville passed away Friday, December 5, 2025 at the Bloomfield Care Center.
Pat was born to Edward & Jennie (Miller) Avey on June 28, 1939 in Menlo, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Jim Cisler in Savannah, Illinois. To this marriage, four children were born; Carl, Danny, Jimmy and Charlie.
Pat spent the majority of her life loving and taking care of her kids and their friends. She was a mother to many over the years and only asked for love and respect in return. She enjoyed time spent with her family and friends. Pat enjoyed walking and could be seen all over town out on her strolls. She enjoyed reading, watching Hallmark movies and watching her boys grow and smile.
Pat is survived by her children: Carl Cisler and his fiancé, Kristen Wallis, Danny Cisler (Patty), Jimmy Cisler(Bea), Charlie Cisler (Lex), grandchildren: Christian Cisler (Michaela), Daniel Cisler (Makenna), Lexi Cisler, Marissa Hubbard, Bryan Hubbard (Merrica), Brad Hubbard (Rita), Tyler Cisler (Jade), Seth Cisler, Abbie Cisler, Brady Cisler, 12 great grandchildren, brother, Lyle Avey (Karen) and numerous extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jim and siblings: Norm, Carol, Karen and Connie.
Funeral service for Pat will be 10:00 AM, Friday, December 12, 2025 at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville with Larry Bettis officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be all day Thursday, with family present from 5:00 – 7:00 pm. Condolences may be shared at https://www.thomasfh.com or https://facebook.com/thomasfuneralhome. Memorials may be given to Weekend Backpack Program, which sends food home every Friday to over 90 students from Lakeview Elementary that are in need. Please make checks to Centerville Faith Church and write weekend backpack program in the memo.
