Pamalee Lynn Fowler's Obituary
Pamalee Lynn (Sivetts) Fowler passed away on January 17, 2025 at her home surrounded by her husband and son, under the care of EveryStep Hospice.
Pam was born on September 4, 1960 in Grinnell, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Mary (O'Donnell) Sivetts. Pam graduated from Centerville High School with the class of 1978. After high school Pam joined the work force as a nurse's aide at Golden Age Care Center. She also worked at Viskase, and continued working there while it was BEMIS before switching to Wells, from where she retired.
Pamalee married Roger Fowler on February 13, 1988, and together they had one son, Chad. Pam was a loving mother and wife. She loved taking care of her family and extended family any chance she could. She enjoyed anything outdoors, from being at auctions or antiquing, to camping, to tending to her garden and planting her flowers. Many of her evenings were spent sitting outside around a fire enjoying time with friends. She had a great collection of cookie jars that took many years to find. When she had to be inside, she liked to crochet to take up her time. She was an avid cat lover, and took in any and all cats that happened to show up.
Pam is survived by her husband, Roger Fowler; son, Chad Fowler; siblings, Terry (Mary) Sivetts and Bill Sivetts; uncle, George (Mary) O'Donnell; nieces, Hailey (Garrett) Cowan, Lindsey (Jake Snider) Sivetts, Emily Sivetts; nephew, Joe (Jenna) Sivetts, along with many extended family and friends.
Pam is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Sivetts and Mary O'Donnell; stepfather, Dale Evans; brother Steve Sivetts; grandparents Pearl and Rose Sivetts and Robert and Essie O'Donnell; uncle Ronnie O'Donnell; and in-laws, Lavern and Donna Fowler.

Visitation will take place Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Thomas Funeral Home, with the family greeting friends from 1:00PM-2:00PM.
