Pamala Marie Vaughn's Obituary
Pamala Vaughn, 63, of Allerton passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Southern Hills Nursing Home in Osceola. Pamala was born in Corydon to Wilbur & Margaret (Warren) Sowder on April 7, 1953. She received her education from Wayne Community High School in 1971 and furthered her education, graduating from Indian Hills Community College. Pamala was united in marriage to John Vaughn. She was a hairdresser for many years. Later on in life, Pamala took a job at Mosaic in Osceola. She enjoyed visiting in person and on the phone and loved photography. Pamala was a member of the United Presbyterian Church in Allerton, Iowa. Survivors include her son, Jeremy of Allerton, two siblings: Craig Sowder (Candra) of Williamsburg, Iowa, Rhonda Jellison (Donnie) of Seymour, Iowa and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Vaughn, daughter, Jessica Vaughn and her parents. Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 11:00 am at the Thomas-Randolph Funeral Home in Allerton with Melanie Halferty officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to service on Saturday from 10:00 am-11:00 am. Memorials may be given to the United Presbyterian Church of Allerton. Condolences may be shared at www.thomasfh.com.
