Orville King's Obituary
Orville S. King, 85 of Centerville died Tuesday, August 17, 2004 at home. He was born July 28, 1919 to Pearl and Clara (Umbwhour) King in Bussey, Iowa. Orville was a member of the First Baptist Church in Centerville. He married Eulan I. White in Lancaster, Missouri on Feb. 22, 1941.
Surviving him is two daughters; Elizabeth Roberts of Ashland, Missouri, Orvella Shipman and her husband Mike of Monroe, Iowa, two sisters; Clara Atwell of Chariton, Iowa and Ethel Fenton of Centerville, 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Eulan, parents Pearl and Clara, son Pearle, 6 brothers; Virgil, Ernie, Clifton, Kenneth, Floyd and Woodrow ""Boots"" King, and 2 sisters; Florence Martin and Vera Printy.
Visitation will be all day Thursday with the family present from 6-8 p.m at Thomas Lange Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday August 20, at Thomas Lange Funeral Home with Pastor Conrad Thompson officiating. A memorial has been established to Hospice of Central Iowa, Centerville Office or First Baptist Church in Centerville, which may be left at or mailed to Thomas Lange Funeral Home 1900 South 18th St. Centerville, Ia 52544
