Ola Jones' Obituary
Ola Opal Jones, 82 of Cincinnati died May 7, 2004 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville. She was born the daughter of Roy Martin and Daisy Blanche (Morrow) Fowler on October 19, 1921 in Hartford, Missouri. Ola married Raymond Conger on January 19, 1946. He preceded her in death on July 29, 1955. She then married John Taygren on February 14, 1959 and he preceded her in death on December 7, 1970.
Ola was a Farm wife who was employed by the Vernon Co. and Churchill Hotel in Newton and Motel 60 in Centerville.
Ola is survived by a daughter Daisy Sivetts and her husband Steve of Cincinnati, son John Jones of Cincinnati, step-daughter Carol Wages of Cincinnati, two grandchildren and six step-grandchildren, three brothers; Jim Fowler and his wife Maxine of Cincinnati, George Fowler of Grinnell, Ia and Lee Fowler of Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her husbands Raymond Conger and John Taygren, parents Roy and Daisy Fowler; step-son, Robert Conger; sister, Alice Reynolds and brother Lloyd Fowler.
Her body has been cremated and no services are planned. Burial will be at a later date on her family farm. A memorial has been established and may be left at or mailed to Thomas Lange Funeral Home, 1900 S. 18th St Centerville, Ia 52544.
