Nellie May Lee's Obituary
Nellie May Lee, age 94, of Centerville, Iowa, died Monday, June 5, 2006, at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville. She was born the daughter of John and Hattie (Henning) Corder on October 14, 1911 in Koshkanong, Missouri. She received her education in a Rural country school.On May 22, 1926, Nellie was united in marriage to William 'Tuck' Richmond in Unionville, Missouri. On March 7, 1935, she was united in marriage to Charles Lee in Lancaster, Missouri. Nellie worked for a time as a telephone operator for the phone company in Cincinnati, Iowa as well as a time for MaGraw Edison in Centerville and was a homemaker.Nellie was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, William 'Tuck' Richmond on October 31, 1930 and husband, Charles Lee on April 25, 1967; sons, William D. Richmond, Harold Lee, Charles T. Lee; sister, Florence Gordy; brothers, Carl, Bobby and J.D. Corder; grandson, William D. Richmond, Jr.; great granddaughter, Christina Jane Stockton.She is survived by: her daughters, Geraldine Stockton-Musgrove of Ottumwa, Iowa and Sue Ann Veach and her husband Wayne of Centerville, Iowa; daughter-in-law, Donna Richmond of Ottumwa, Iowa; brothers, Ted Corder of Centerville, Iowa and Tracy Corder of Moulton, Iowa; Eleven grandchildren, Twenty-two great grandchildren and twenty-four great great grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 7, 2006 at 10:30 am at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with Rev. Terry Chapman officiating. Burial will be in the St. John's Cemetery north of Livonia, Missouri.
