Mrs Marie Langloss' Obituary
Margarete Marie Schieb was born on November 21, 1924 in Ludwigsburg, Germany to Hermann and Marie Schieb. She married Paul Langloss on June 22, 1948 while he was stationed in Germany after World War II. The couple and their only child, Leroy, lived in various Army bases until Paul's retirement from the Army in 1963. Margarete lived on their acreage on the north side of Allerton until her death on February 12, 2012. She passed from this life to her heavenly home at the Wayne County Hospital. Her husband Paul preceded Margarete in death in March 2003. She was also preceded in death by her parents, sister Lauri and husband Alfred, brother Erwin and wife Annie, brother-in-law Wilbur Langloss, brother-in-law Alfred Langloss and wife Eloise, sister-in-law Mildred Jellison and husband Halga and brother-in-law Louis Stroud. Surviving her are son Leroy and wife Patsy of Allerton, granddaughter Kimberly Langloss of Des Moines, grandson Steve and wife Trudi of Chaparral, New Mexico, great grandchildren Austin, Brendan, Trey, Tyler Anne and Cody Langloss, sisters-in-law Macy Langloss of Allerton and Lecine Stroud of Corydon, many nieces, nephews, and friends. She is also survived by her 'adopted' granddaughter Rachel (Alley) Tanis and husband Marc of Buffalo, Minnesota. Margarete's life was a testament to our Lord and Savior.
