Mondra Adrianse's Obituary
Mondra Adrianse, age 51, of Centerville, Iowa died Friday October 28, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center, Des Moines, Iowa.
She was born on October 28, 1960 in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of Lawrence and Roberta Haines. Mondra married Fred Adrianse on June 6, 1986 in Piedmont, South Carolina. To this union two children were born, Rose and James Adrianse.
Mondra worked for several years until her health forced her to take early retirement in 2001. In her free time she enjoyed bowling, playing games on the Nintendo Wei, and cooking for her family-especially fried green tomatoes, turkey burgers, and sweet tea. She was a member of the Solid Rock Church of God in Centerville. S he is survived by her husband Fred Adrianse of Centerville, Iowa; three children, Rose Adrianse (Fiance Kevin Davis) of Centerville, Iowa, James Adrianse of Centerville, Iowa, and adopted son Robert Schuler of Centerville; six siblings, Walt Downey of Centerville, Iowa, Donnie Downey of Cherry Point, North Carolina, Judy Haines of Des Moines, Iowa, Johnny Haines of Iowa City, Iowa, Loran Haines of Newton, Iowa, and Tammy Schmidt of Des Moines, Iowa.
Mondra was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Zack Wylde and Christopher Whyette; and a sister Kathy Haines.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM, Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Lange Funeral Home in Centerville with Pastor Nelson Foster officiating. Burial will follow in the Southlawn Cemetery in Seymour, Iowa. A visitation will be held at Lange Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 1, 2011 with the family present from 6-8 PM.
