Minnie K. Hermon's Obituary
Minnie K. McClaskey-Hermon, age 82, of Centerville, Iowa, went to meet her heavenly Father on October 14, 2010 at home with her Husband and Family around her. Minnie was born April 12, 1928 to John and Mary McClaskey in Mendota Missouri. Minnie attended school at the Wells Country School. On May 3, 1947 Minnie was united in marriage to Forest Hermon in Winterset, Iowa. Minnie spent her life as a wonderful mother and loving wife of 63 years. Minnie is survived by her loving husband, Forest Hermon of Centerville, Iowa; children, Arthur (Connie) Hermon of Centerville, Iowa, Sue (Rick) Traxler of Centerville, Iowa, James (Tara) Hermon of Centerville, Iowa, Aaron (Norah) Hermon of Burnsville, Minnesota; thirteen grandchildren, Shyrel, Sam, Corrie, Stacey, Sarah, Melanie, Sunee, Dalton, Nicole, Katlin, Garrett, Ellah, and Evah; nine great grandchildren; and a sister, Juanita Garr of Coatsville, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary McClaskey; sisters, Eva Binns and Mildred Oden; nieces, Mary Christenson and Louise Garr; and a brother Hugh McClaskey. Graveside services will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, October 16, 2010 at the Mt. Hermon Cemetery in Chariton, Missouri with Pastor Larry Hudson officiating. A memorial has been established to the Mt.
