Mina Trumper's Obituary
Mina Rosa Trumper was born June 30, 1930, in Powersville, Putnam County, Missouri, to Jesse and Eupha (Stroud) Murray, and passed away November 9, 2012, at Mercy Hospital, Des Moines, Iowa, at age 82. She was united in marriage to Tom Powell in February 1948. To this union three children were born: Carolyn (Kit) Davis, Des Moines; Connie Jean (Ronald) Boylan, Des Moines; and Randall (Kathy) Powell, Des Moines. In 1970 she was united in marriage to Max Trumper. In addition to her children, she is survived by her grandchildren: Tina Renteria, Joe Boylan, Cory Boylan, Aaron Boylan, Andrew Powell, Shane Powell, and SPC. Randall Powell, Jr.; her great grandchildren and her great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers John (Mary) Murray, Griffin, Georgia; Gene (Maggie) Murray, Indianola; Ted (Elaine) Murray, McDonough, Georgia; and Tom (Pat) Murray, Clarksville, Tennessee; her sisters, Mae (Jim) Barker, Pleasant Hill, Betty Eagle, Ottumwa, Mary (Jerry) Brown, Jacksonville, Florida; Barbara (Wayne) Baldus, Buckner, Missouri, and Waneta (Paul) Rager, Buckner, Missouri; sisters-in-law Betty (Jack) Moore, Corydon and Shirley (Ralph) Alshouse of Seymour. Many nieces and nephews also survive her. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Max Trumper; her brothers, Jesse Murray, William Murray, and James Murray; her mother-in-law Beulah Trumper; sisters-in-law Twila Hampton and Barbara Murray; brothers-in-law, Eugene and Glen Trumper and Charles Eagle. Her loving family and her many, many friends and relatives will cherish Mina's memory. She loved her family. She enjoyed having her family and friends around her. She enjoyed the family reunions when so many people would gather at her house before the get-together and though times she was in pain she always made it to the reunions. Everyone seemed to gather around her. She was loved by so many.
