Micki Cline's Obituary
Margaret A. 'Micki' Cline, age 65, of Exline, Iowa, died Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Continental Care Center in Seymour, Iowa. She was born the daughter of Eugene and Geraldine (Robertson) Bates on January 11, 1946 in Independence, Iowa. She graduated from the East Buchanan High School in Winthrop, Iowa. Later, she would attend Paris Beauty School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.On March 26, 1982, Micki was united in marriage to Gary Cline in Manchester, Iowa. She worked for a time at the Delaware County Memorial Hospital in Manchester. In 1996, they moved to Centerville, Iowa and she would work for Home Collection and later the Tubaugh Family Chiropractic Clinic both in Centerville. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Centerville. Was a Board member of New Hope Ministries as well as PEO all in Centerville.She was preceded in death by: her parents; a sister, Carol Murray; brother-in-law, Jim Murray; a nephew and God Son, Dan Fischer.Micki is survived by: her husband, Gary Cline of Exline, Iowa; daughters, Christine Schlichte her husband, Mike of Rothschild, Wisconsin, Jennifer Shelton and her husband, Tony of Urbana, Iowa; step-daughters, Terri and her husband, Bob Zimmerman of Superior, Wisconsin, Melissa Buchanan and her husband, Greg of Lake In The Hills, Illinois and Annie Cline of Edgewood, Iowa; a brother, Jim Bates of Kountze, Texas; sisters, Lee Stimson of Strongsville, Ohio, Linda Williams of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Pamela Clarke of Bella Vista, Arkansas and Debby Fischer of Garnavillo, Iowa; along with eight beautiful grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 10 am at the First Baptist Church in Centerville, Iowa with Rev. Lloyd Johnston officiating. Entombment will be at the Cline Family Mausoleum in the Exline Cemetery in Exline, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 from 2 pm until 8 pm with the family present from 4 pm until 6 pm at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa.Memorials can be made to the New Hope Ministries and can be left at the funeral home.
