Michael 'Mike' William Ware's Obituary
Michael "Mike" William Ware, age 66, of Centerville, Iowa, passed away Friday, October 11, 2019 at MercyOne in Des Moines.
He was born December 13, 1952 in Ottumwa, Iowa, the son of Robert and Shirley (Brown) Ware. Mike was united in marriage to JoAnne V. Bevins on October 14, 1972 and to this union of marriage, two children were born, Sarah and Shandel.
Mike enjoyed many passions throughout his lifetime, including outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, trips to Sharon Bluffs State Park and the Centerville Reservoir, and drives in the countryside. He also loved his dog, Scruffy.
He is survived by his two children, Sarah (Seth) Visser of Centerville, Iowa and Shandel (Andrew Fenton) Ware of Mystic, Iowa; and four grandchildren, Alyssa Visser, Addisyn Visser, Layne Fenton, and Conor Fenton.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents; and his wife, JoAnne Ware on March 19, 2010.
According to Mikes wishes, cremation has been accorded. A visitation will take place on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory in Centerville, with the family greeting friends from 5-7 PM. A private burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the Family of Michael Ware, to be determined at a later date, and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa, 52544.
