Michael Browns' Obituary
Michael Browns, 65 of Centerville, passed away on July 12, 2021 at MercyOne Centerville, Iowa.
Michael Leland Browns was born on November 14, 1955 to Burrel and Jackie (Young) Browns in Davenport, Iowa. He graduated from Centerville High School in 1973. On May 6, 1978, Michael was united in marriage to Kathy Wood at the Moulton United Methodist Church. Together, they had one child, Christopher Browns.
Photography was Michael's passion, and he followed in his father's footsteps, taking over the family business to keep Browns Photography open for the community. Michael appreciated bluegrass music and enjoyed playing his guitar. He attended the Grace Tabernacle Baptist Church and loved his church family.
Michael is survived by his son Christopher Browns, his father Burrel Browns, and numerous extended family. He is preceded in death by his wife Kathy Browns and his mother Jackie Browns.
Memorial service for Michael will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at 5:30 PM at the Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville. Visitation will be one hour prior. Memorials may be made to the family and condolences can be shared at www.thomasfh.com or www.facebook.com/thomasfuneralhome.
