Michael R Brown's Obituary
Michael Brown, 60 of Centerville passed away Friday, November 10, 2023 at Centerville Specialty Care.
Michael was born to Lee Brown & Karen (Nichols) Mastin on August 10, 1963 in Red Oak, Iowa. He moved to Centerville shortly after high school, where it would become home for him. Michael most recently worked for Fareway in Centerville. People enjoyed his personality and smile as they shopped at the store.
Michael enjoyed working at Fareway, he also enjoyed going on vacations and shopping. In his younger years, Michael loved riding motorcycles. He was a member of Solid Rock Church of God in Centerville and spent numerous hours at church functions.
Survivors include his mother, Karen Mastin, siblings: Lori Ann Geiser, Jeff Brown (Krista), Jonathan Brown (Bobbi), Kimberly Sarver (Dennis), Timothy Brown, Cindy Marcantel, Doug Mastin, Deanna Denny, Threasa Mastin, aunt Barb Mastin and numerous extended family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lee Brown, step father, Rev James Mastin and a brother, Dennis Mastin.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville. Interment will follow at Haines Cemetery. Visitation will take place two hours prior to the funeral on Wednesday, from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM.
