Melissa Craver's Obituary
Melissa Dawn Craver, of Seymour, Iowa, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on June 29, 2022 at the age of 47.
Melissa was born on December 28, 1973 to Paul Leighty and Wanda Easely. She joined a brother, Peter Rocha, and two sisters, Amber Gosser and Hope Lineberry.
Melissa married Robert "Tony" Craver on October 31, 2017. Her son James Biggers and daughter Destinee Biggers were also a part of this union. Melissa enjoyed listening to music and dancing in the living room, as well as her many road trips with her family. She had a deep passion for working in the farrowing unit at the Birch Grove hog farm in Allerton, Iowa and loved her job there.
Melissa is survived by her husband of 5 years, Robert "Tony" Craver, her son, James Biggers, daughter, Destinee Biggers, her brother, Peter Rocha, and two sisters, Amber Gosser and Hope Lineberry, her parents, Paul Leighty and Wanda Easely, three granddaughters, Nevaeh Biggers, Emma Biggers, and Kyrah Michelle, grandson, Jaxson Neal, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Per Melissa's wishes, cremation has been accorded and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given to the family to be designated at a later date. Condolences may be shared at www.thomasfh.com and www.facebook.com/thomasfuneralhome.
