Max Kirby's Obituary
Max Kirby, age 79, of Moulton, Iowa, died Thursday, June 11, 2015, at Silvercrest in Anamosa, Iowa. He was born the son of Kenneth C. and Marguerite E. (Wahl) Kirby on August 10, 1935 in Moulton, Iowa. He graduated from the Moulton High School.Max farmed for many years north of Moulton. He was preceded in death by: his parents; his companion for many years, Pat Breeding; and a sister, Barbara Appler.Max is survived by: his daughters, Tressa Kirby of Robins, Iowa, Debra Mason of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Shelley Gittins of Roy, Utah; thirty grandchildren and several great grandchildren; and a brother, Wayne Kirby of Macomb, Illinois.A private burial was held on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the Sunset View Cemetery north of Moulton, Iowa.
