Mary Williamson's Obituary
Mary Bea (Exline) Williamson, age 40, of Centerville, Iowa left this earth on Friday, December 11th, 2015 at Circle of Life Hospice in Chariton, Iowa. Mary was born to Donald Dean Exline and Mary Lou (Covington) Exline on August 8, 1975 in Centerville, Iowa. She lived on the family farm near Seymour for most of her school years and attended Seymour Community School as well as Wayne Community School. Mary welcomed her first child, Donna Jean Exline, in October of 1994. Mary was married in November of 1996 (but divorced in 2005). To this union Joshua Dell Williamson was born in November 1997. Mary and her family then moved to South Carolina and they welcomed William Franklin Williamson in February 2000 and Ashley Ann Williamson in March of 2002. While in South Carolina Mary Bea kept busy caring for her children and working as a CNA. She found being a CNA very rewarding and did this for many years in both South Carolina and Iowa. Mary and her children moved back to Iowa when her Dad was battling cancer. She moved in to help her Step-Mom, Carolyn, take care of him until he passed away in September of 2006. Then when her Mom fell ill and was eventually diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer, Mary moved in with her and took care of her by herself until she passed away in July 2010. Mary began working at Riverbend Industries in Victor, Iowa shortly after her Mom passed away. She really enjoyed working there. In November of 2012, she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Because the chemo made her so sick she was unable to continue her job at Riverbend. This really disappointed her. Mary had many ups and downs in her fight with Breast Cancer but was in remission and Cancer Free in December 2013. In 2014 and half of 2015 she worked hard to get her life back on track. She even became a Grandma, to Kandalynn, in July 2014. But then in August of 2015 she began feeling ill again and was diagnosed on September 25, 2015 with Stage 4 Liver Cancer. Her battle was short but hard. Her body just couldn't overcome cancer again. We all greatly miss Mary Bea and her laugh and smile. We will all miss playing card, board, and dice games with her. She very much enjoyed playing them with her family and friends. Our prayer for her is that she is enjoying these in Heaven with her parents and many friends and family that left this earth already. Mary is survived by her children: Donna (Devon Marsh) Exline, Josh, William, and Ashley Williamson; her grandchildren: Kandalynn Marsh and Baby Girl Marsh (due May 2016); Brothers: Daniel Exline (Toby Vaughn), Donny (Melody) Exline; Nephews: Xavier and Elijah Exline; Step-Mom: Carolyn (Exline) Moore; Aunts: Cathy Covington and Arlene (Exline) Carter; and many other family members and beloved friends. Mary is preceded in death by both her parents: Donald "Dean" Exline and Mary Lou Exline; First Cousins: Brent Covington,Sonda (Exline) Bunton, and Terry Exline; Aunts: Pam Covington and Maudie (Wells) Exline; Uncles: Richard Covington, Eugene Exline, and Larry Exline; And all of her Grandparents.
