Mary Louise Susin's Obituary
Mary Louise Susin, age 85, of Numa, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Wayne County Hospital in Corydon.
Mary was born on October 14, 1934 in Des Moines, Iowa, the daughter of Louie and Maggie (Goffe) Nobile. She graduated from Numa High School. On September 25, 1955, she was united in marriage to Ledio Susin in Unionville, Missouri. To this union, two children were born, David and Jolene.
Mary worked at Easters Super Value Store in Centerville as a checker and in the pharmacy for several years. She enjoyed working there, and made a lot of friends with her coworkers. Mary loved babysitting her grandchildren, and cherished the time spent with her entire family. She was quite the jokester, always lightening the mood around her. Mary was also a member of the St. Marys Catholic Church in Centerville.
Left to cherish Marys memory are her children, Dave (Rita) Susin of Centerville, Iowa, Jolene (Aldo) Fadiga of Numa, Iowa; grandchildren, Tara Susin, Dakota Susin, Tanner Susin and Jared Fadiga; a great grandchild, Liam Howell; and a sister in law, Carolyn Nobile; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ledio Susin; her parents, Louie and Maggie Nobile; a granddaughter, Amanda Susin; and two siblings, Louis Nobile Jr. and Joseph Nobile.
Private family services will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to either the Numa Cemetery Association or EveryStep Hospice, and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, C/O Susin Family, 1900 South 18th Street, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
