It's probably safe to say that Andrea has Grandma's DNA in her after sharing that story on this board. It's hard to top that one.I have several vivid memories from my childhood and on reflection what I learned most from our interactions was what it means to have a strong will. Whether it was to run a home-based care center, maintain a huge flower bed and garden, raise a hoard of Lhasa Apso dogs, obey sabbath, maintain her driving privileges, live on her own in her home, or live to the ripe old age of 97 she always demonstrated a strong will.As someone who enjoys working around the house and is more interested in the architecture of a church rather than the message being spoken, as a boy I would say that I was completely enthralled with her home when she and Grandpa were raising dogs. The dog run on the porch roof was amazing! I'm very thankful that she had a loving family and my kids got to meet her a couple of times. She was original, and we loved her; may she rest in peace.
