Mary Rutliff's Obituary
Mary Rutliff, age 85, of Albia, Iowa and former Moulton resident, died Monday, February 9, 2004, at Monroe County Hospital in Albia, Iowa. She was born the daughter of Edger V. and Maude E. (Ray) Peek on July 4, 1918 in Moulton, Iowa. She received her education in the Moulton Community Schools.On May 12, 1940, Mary was united in marriage to Orville Rutliff in Huntsville, Missouri. They farmed many years south of Moulton, Iowa. She was a member of the Moulton United Methodist Church.Mary was preceded in death by: her parents; husband, Orville Rutliff on August 28, 1996; sisters, Pearl Cassatt and Gertrude Miller.She is survived by: many nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 13, 2004 at 10 am at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Moulton, Iowa with Rev. Jim Schweizer officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery east of Moulton.
