Mary W. Correll's Obituary
Mary Correll, age 83 of Centerville died Monday July 25, 2005 at the University of Iowa Hospitals, Iowa City, Iowa.
She was born July 22, 1922 the daughter of John A. and Mary A. (Riggle) Wright in Cincinnati, Iowa. She taught in country schools at Dean, Mayflower and White. She was a telephone operator in Cincinnati, IA. She resided in Coolidge, AZ for 13 years where she worked as a prison guard at the Arizona Women's Prison is Florence, Arizona and taught at the Arizona Children's Colony. She loved to quilt and do needlework.
She is survived by her daughter Donna Jean Ingram and her husband Ronald of Henderson, NV, four grandchildren; Brian Ingram and his wife Desiree of Henderson, NV, Christopher and his wife Angelina of Alameda, CA, Elizabeth Ingram and Timothy Ingram of Henderson, NV, three great grandchildren; Andrea, Bianca and Ethan Ingram, and a sister-in-law Pauline Wright. She was preceded in death by her parents and ten brothers and sisters.
Funeral services will held at 10 AM Saturday morning, July 30, 2005 at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home with Pastor Donnell Logsdon officiating. Friends may call all day Friday with the family present from 6-8 PM at the funeral Home. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Cincinnati, Iowa. A memorial has been established to the Pleasant Hill Cemetery and may be left or mailed to the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, PO Box 6, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
