Marty Gene Wren's Obituary
Marty Wren, age 64, formerly of Allerton, Iowa passed away at Iowa River Hospice in Marshalltown, Iowa on April 15, 2025.
Marty was born on January 7, 1961 to Paul and Bonnie (Williams) Wren in Winterset, Iowa. He attended schools in Mount Grove, Missouri. Marty was married, and later divorced, to this union came 4 children: Susan, Crystal, Chris, and Steven.
Throughout his life, Marty worked at Seymour Manufacturing for many years, followed by some time working at Iowa Steel and Wire. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trapping beavers. He was a great story teller and based them on life experiences. He also loved a nice warm day riding his motorcycle when and where he could.
Marty is survived by his children, Susan, Crystal, Chris (Riley) Hickman and Steven Wren; grandchildren, Jacob, Joseph, Jeremiah, Jagger, Jarren, Conner, Maddox, Alyssa, Alivia, Selena, Samantha, Cassidy and Lilly; siblings, Terry Wren and Diantha (David) Goering.
He was preceded in death by his parents, older brother, Gerald Wren and younger brother, Tony Wren.
