Martha and I along with others, never left a stone uncovered to benefit the town and the library, also the our historic depot and the Moravia Historical Society. Martha and my sister Dana, now deceased, had a life long friendship, so it was easy to get to know Martha well. She was kind, very bright, and had an excellent sense of humor. We miss her so much because she knew so much about running a library, and I for one, had no idea how, or had vague ideas. I was content to say and what day and what time do I need to be there. Now we need her to be here to help with the Betterment Committee which she had already started working on. We will do it and do it well, because she set the excellence bar high for us and we will do our best to meet it. Thanks for the memories, we had a good run, Fran B.
