Marles Potter's Obituary
Marles Potter, 81 of Cincinnati passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Mercy One - Centerville. Marles was born to Donald & Maxine (Sutherland) Moriarty on December 27, 1939 in Centerville. Marles received her education from Cincinnati High School, graduating in 1958. Marles worked at Young Radiator for a time but her main focus was taking care of her family as a homemaker. Marles enjoyed quilting and gardening. She was an excellent cook and for many years enjoyed feeding everyone that was welcome in her home. In her spare time, Marles enjoyed reading and being outdoors. She loved living on the farm and loving being a farmer's wife. Survivors include her husband, Raymond Potter, sons: Shane Conger (Patty), Kelley Potter, Bruce Potter, grandchildren: Chad Conger, Kyle Conger, Michael Soumounthong (Sara), great grandchildren: Kenzie and Kendra Conger, siblings: Kay Bullard (Gene), Jim Moriarty, Regina Gooden (Edward), Vicky Cowan (Bill) and numerous extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents. Marles's body has been cremated and due to Covid-19, the family has chosen to hold off on memorial services until this summer. Inurnment will take place after the memorial service at Hill Town Cemetery near Moulton.
