Marlene Knaak's Obituary
Marlene Knaak, 62, of Corydon passed away Thursday, May 14, 2015 at her home. Marlene was born to Albert Cavin & Alma (McBeth) Terrell on August 16, 1952 in Ottumwa, Iowa. She received her education from Hedrick Schools. On May 8, 1971, Marlene was united in marriage to Mike Knaak. To this union came two children; Michelle and Marc. Marlene was a homemaker for the majority of her life. She enjoyed doing word search puzzles, collecting Betty Boop & Elvis memorabilia and playing with her dogs. Marlene's most treasured times were spent with her family. She enjoyed time with her kids, grandkids, and great nieces. Survivors include her husband Mike Knaak of Corydon, two children: Michelle Knaak of Overland Park, Kansas, Marc Knaak (Tracy) of Sulfolk, Virginia, two grandchildren: Marquel Knaak of Overland Park, Kansas, Shelby Knaak of Sulfolk, Virginia, three siblings: LaVerne Cavin (Kathleen) of Hedrick, Iowa, Marilyn Simbro (Dwight) of Seymour, Iowa, Richard Cavin (Teressa) of Promise City, Iowa and a host of extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father, Clyde Terrell and two brothers; Charles and Jimmy and nephew Eric Simbro. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, May 18, 2015 at Thomas-Randolph Funeral Home in Corydon. Visitation will be one hour prior to service at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
