Marjorie Jones' Obituary
Marjorie Mae Jones, 92 of Centerville died April 15, 2005 at Golden Age Care Center in Centerville.
Marjorie was born January 26, 1913 in Centerville to Joe and Etta (Law) Allison. She received her education from Centerville Schools. She married Carl E. Jones on July 12, 1936, he precedes her in death. Marjorie was a 66 year member of Chapter CI PEO, a member of Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the Cincinnati Methodist Church.
Marjorie is survived by three children; Lynetta Wales of Centerville, Dwight Jones of Centerville and Liane Scott of Lompoc, California, 11 grandchildren; Kelli Eichoff of Omaha, Ne, Kara Jones of St. Louis, Mo., Jennifer Long of Centerville, Melissa Jones of Omaha, Ne, Emily Jones of Centerville, Alison Wales of Lompoc, Ca., Patrick Jon Wales of Glenwood, Ia., Ronda Baty of Iowa City, Ia., Barbara Pritchett of Lompoc, Ca., Marcia Scott of Castro Valley, Ca., Clark Scott of Idaho Falls, Idaho and 6 great grandchildren; Jason Eichoff of Omaha, Ne., Jackson Baty of Iowa City, Iowa, Annika Scott and Zoe Scott both of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Christopher and Danielle Pritchett of Lompoc, Ca.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Tuesday April 19, 2005 at Thomas Lange Funeral Home with Pastor Kay Singley officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. A memorial has been established to the Cincinnati Methodist Church or Pleasant Hill Cemetery which may be left at or mailed to Thomas Lange Funeral Home 1900 S. 18th St. Centerville, Ia 52544
