Uncle Marion often shared interesting stories. Many reflected his incredible sense of humor, along with his welding skills, as he played tricks on coworkers. Her was always entertaining! He will be missed. Sending love and hugs to his family.
One time yars ago at the Albia airport,a Man and his Wife landed to get fuel in a beautiful little Cessna 140. Of course Marion walked out to look it over.The guy had a attitude,and you could tell he didn't want anybody around his plane. He immediatly told Marion he could look but dont touch.Well the way he said it ticked Marion off. Marion looked him right in the eye aand said "Oh,I wasn't looking at your airplane,I was looking at your wife". I'll never forget the look on that guys face.He never said another word. LOL.
He was a very talented man. I allways enjoyed talking airplanes with him.
