Marilyn Darlene Lampe's Obituary
Marilyn Darlene Lampe, age 80, of Lakewood, Colorado, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 24, 2025.
Marilyn was born in Wichita, Kansas, to Robert Willis Meeker and Dorothy Genevieve Parker (Meeker), both of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her beloved grandfather, Earl Austin Parker, and her brother, Robert Danford https://Meeker.Marilyn completed her high school education and furthered her studies at Saint Clare College in Clinton, Iowa, before embarking on a fulfilling career as a Loan Officer in Mortgage Banking.
Marilyn was a devoted believer throughout her life, having been baptized in the Presbyterian faith and staying actively involved in church communities. She was also a dedicated member of PEO, a women's philanthropic organization, where she took great pleasure in making a positive impact on others' lives.
Marilyn is survived by her loving daughters, Michelle R. Carroll (Michael C. Carroll) and Nicole L. Lampe-Burk (Edwin J. Burk Jr.), and her cherished granddaughter Kaylie R. Carroll who brought her much https://joy.Marilyn's warmth, generosity, and dedication to her family and community will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Funeral service will be 10:30 AM, Saturday, March 8, 2025 at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville. Interment will immediately follow in Oakland Cemetery.
