Marie Lillian Wright's Obituary
Marie Lillian Wright, age 94 of Centerville, Iowa passed away Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Centerville Nursing and Rehab Center in Centerville.
Marie was born June 3, 1917 in Decatur, Illinois, the daughter of William and Daisy Dickerson Heintze. Marie worked at JC Penney's and was the manager of Rockwoods. She was a member of Drake Ave Christian Church, the Does BPOE, PEO, Eastern Star and the Appanoose Country Club. She loved to play bridge, play golf and to make beautiful quilts.
Marie is survived by two children Tim (Ellen) Wright of Wentzville, MO, and Peggy Oden of Centerville; 5 grandchildren Dusty Hatfield of Centerville, Blayne (Heather) Wright of Udell, IA, Zac Price of Centerville, Tye Oden of Ames, Iowa, Mike (Tina) Lewis of Seymour; 6 great grandchildren, Lane Hatfield and Abby Hatfield, Emmy Bills, Xander Price, David Lewis, Gregory Lewis; a sister Rilla Lea (Russell) Burgher of Centerville and a daughter-in-law Sandy Wright of Seymour.
She was preceded in death by husband Rex, a son Stuart Wright, her parents, Daisy and William Heintze, and two brothers Ernest and William Heintze.
A Graveside memorial service will be held 11 AM, Thursday, February 23, 2012 at the Oakland Cemetery southwest of Moulton, Iowa. Memorials have been established to the New Focus Inc. and may be given to Lange Funeral Home, 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa, 52544. Condolences may be shared online at www.langefh.com.
