Marie Metcalfe's Obituary
Marie Metcalfe, age 91 of Mystic died Sunday, March 14, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center, Centerville, Iowa.
Marie was born February 5, 1919, the daughter of Harry and Hazel (Hiter) Tague in Clarion, Iowa. She graduated from Clarion High School. Marie married William Metcalfe on December 26, 1937 in Mystic, Iowa. He preceded her in death.
Marie is survived by a son, Kenneth Lee Metcalfe of Mystic, Iowa; and grandchildren, Kerrie and Jessie. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Metcalfe; parents, Harry and Hazel Tague; and a son, William Harry Metcalfe.
Graveside services will be held 11AM, Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Highland Cemetery with Pastor Lloyd Johnston officiating. A visitation will be held Saturday morning at the Lange Funeral Home with family present from 9-11AM. A memorial has been established to the Highland Cemetery Association or American Cancer Society and may be left at or mailed to the Lange Funeral Home 1900 S. 18th St., Centerville, Iowa 52544.
