Marguerite Elizabeth Kirby's Obituary
Marguerite Elizabeth (Wahl) Kirby, age 91, of Moulton, Iowa, died Sunday, July 17, 2005, at her home in Moulton, Iowa. Marguerite was born the daughter of the late Grover Cleve Wahl and the late Elizabeth (McLaughlin) Wahl on January 27, 1914 in Moulton, Iowa. On February 6, 1932, she was united in marriage to Kenneth Carrol Kirby in Lancaster, Missouri. She attended the Moulton Community Schools and was a homemaker. Marguerite was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Kenneth, on June 24, 1990; and two infant brothers, Russell and Max Wahl. She is survived by: sons, Max Kirby, of Moulton, Iowa, and Wayne Kirby and his wife, Sharlyn, of Kirksville, Missouri; daughter, Barbara Appler, and her husband, Pierce, of Moulton, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2005 at 10:00 A.M. at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home, 311 East Broadway, Moulton, Iowa with Elder Greg Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset View Cemetery, north of Moulton, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2005, from 1:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home in Moulton, Iowa, with the family present from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M.
