Margaret E. Douglas' Obituary
Margaret E. Douglas, age 98 of Centerville, Iowa passed away Friday, October 11, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville, Iowa.
Margaret was born September 13, 1915 in Buxton, Iowa, the daughter of Ludwig and Sigrid (Carlson) Johnson. She married James Douglas on September 12, 1936 in Crown Point, Indiana. She worked at Willier's Pharmacy and was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Centerville.
She is survived by two children, Gary (Joanne) Douglas of West Des Moines, Iowa and Debbie Douglas of Unionville, MO; one grandchild, McKenzie (Ken) Disselhorst of Palmyra, MO; and two brothers, Bob (Ruth) Johnson and Bill Johnson both of Albia, Iowa.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband James; parents, Ludwig and Sigrid Johnson; three brothers, Leon Johnson, Howard Johnson and Don Johnson.
Graveside services will be held at 3PM, Monday , October 14, 2013 at Oakland Cemetery, Centerville with Pastor Jeremy McElvain officiating. A memorial has been established to Long Term Care, Mercy Medical Center, Centerville or Hospice of Central Iowa and may be left or mailed to the Lange Funeral Home & Crematory, Centerville.
