Margaret Ann Brandon's Obituary
Margaret Brandon, 78 of Corydon, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at the Wayne County Hospital in Corydon, Iowa.
Margaret Ann Burgett was born on October 16, 1943 to Russell and Dorothy (Wilson) Burgett in Chariton, Iowa. She began working at Neely Manufacturing when she was just a teenager. Maggie enjoyed gambling and fishing. She was a people person and always loved life to the fullest.
Maggie is survived by her life companion, Gary Langloss, daughter, Jackie Manning (Raymond), two grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, 2 great- great-grandchildren, brothers, Larry Burgett (Linda) and Bob Burgett (Irma), sisters, Mary McCall and Molly Spoon (Randy), and numerous extended family. She is preceded in death by her parents.
A Celebration of Life service will take place on Monday, March 21, 2022 at 4:00 PM at the Thomas Funeral Home in Corydon. Interment will directly follow the service at Allerton Cemetery. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service, from 3:00 - 4:00 PM. Memorials may be given to the Wayne County Hospital and condolences can be shared at www.thomasfh.com.
