Marcia Rose (Riley) Lineback, age 82 of Udell, IA passed away at her home on January 10, 2024.
Marcia was born on June 28, 1941 in Watertown, New York to Woodrow and Ethel (Hamblin) Riley. She received her education from Watertown High School. Marcia enlisted in the United States Navy on May 22, 1964. During this time, she received her associates degree in nursing. She was officially honorably discharged on May 21, 1967. While she was in the Navy, Marcia married the love of her life Charles Lineback on February 19, 1965. To this union, they welcomed their five children, Charles II, Robin, Marcia, Judy and David.
Marcia was a nurse at the Davis County Hospital, where she worked the night shift. She especially loved it when there were babies in the nursery, because that meant she would be assigned there and could hold babies all night long.
Marcia was all about her family. She was known for always feeding and taking care of everyone. She was always a place for her grandkids to land. She loved her family so much and they all knew it.
Left to cherish Marcia's memory are her husband, Charles Lineback of Udell, IA; her children, Charles Lineback II, Robin (Dan) Aksamit, Marcia (Bob) Smith, Judy (Jon) Dorman and David (Jennifer) Lineback; her siblings, Tina (Phil) Morrison, Margaret (Daryl) Storey, Jim Riley and Woody (Barb) Riley; along with 10 grandchildren and 10.5 great grandchildren.
Marcia was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow and Ethel Riley; and her siblings, Tom Riley, Dorothy Ferguson, Sally Paterson, Kathy Boak, John Riley and Patrick Riley.
Per wishes, Marcia was cremated and there will be no services at this time.
