Mabel G. Hibdon, 90 died Saturday, December 26, 2009 at The Continental Care Center in Seymour. Mabel was born to Joseph & Lulu (Phillips) Chipley on March 27, 1919 in Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. She married Leo Hibdon, he preceded her in death. She enjoyed hand sewing, cooking and square dancing. Mabel is survived by a son, Leo Daniel Hibdon(Nadine) of Olathe, Kansas, 10 grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren, two sister, Flora Mae Mower of Branson, Missouri and Judy Campbell of Oak Grove, Missouri, sister-in-law, Stella Chipley of Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Hibdon, daughter, Elizabeth Long, two brothers, William Jackson and John Henry. She was also preceded by six sisters, Delsey Mattie, Eula Elise, Opal Grace, Bertha Marie and Eva Gladys. Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m, Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Thomas Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior from 12-1:00. Interment will be in Highland Cemetery in Mystic.
