Lynn Ruth Powell's Obituary
Lynn Ruth Powell, age 72, of Centerville, Iowa passed away Saturday, May 2, 2020 at her home.
Lynn was born on March 4, 1948 in Staten Island, New York, the daughter of Paul and Gloria (Steen) Kreikenbaum. Following her high school education, Lynn obtained her Bachelors Degree in Humanities. She was united in marriage to Kimberly Barney on July 8, 2015.
Left to cherish Lynns memory are her daughter, Paula Ruth Sutton (daughter with Howard Lee Powell); 2 grandsons, Paul Matthew Sutton and James Lee Sutton; and spouse Kim Barney.
Lynn was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Herbert Kreikenbaum and Gloria Ruth Kreikenbaum.
A Celebration of Life service will be announced at a later date. Lange Funeral Home and Crematory of Centerville has been entrusted in caring for the Powell family.
