Lyle Burdette Clark's Obituary
Lyle Clark, 87 of Corydon, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022 at the Wayne County Hospital in Corydon.
Lyle Burdette Clark was born to Alva Walter and Laura Grace (Kline) Clark on August 7, 1934 in Promise City, Iowa. He graduated from Promise City High School with the class of 1951. After high school, Lyle joined the military and served in Korea. He married Glenna Jean Stickney on May 26, 1972, and to this union, 8 children were born: John, Tony, Elizabeth, Cynthia, David, William, Michael, and Robert.
Lyle appreciated the outdoors and enjoyed spending his time hunting and fishing. He and his wife, Glenna, were full-time RV'ers for a time, traveling all over the United States.
Lyle is survived by his wife, Glenna; children, John Clark (Carrie), Tony Clark, Elizabeth Bullen (Dan), Cynthia Wolf (Raymond), David Homann (Angela), William Homann (Carissa), Michael Homann (Amy), and Robert Homann; 28 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; sisters, Doris Ingram and Leanna Johnson (Jon); and numerous extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Alva and Laura (Kline) Clark; sister, Arkel Pauline Shinners; and brothers, Alva Clark and Keith Clark.
