Lucile Henderson's Obituary
Lucile ""Delp"" Henderson died Friday, September 24, 2004 at Mercy Medical Center in Centerville.
She was born December 24, 1910 in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Fred and Martha (Elder) Vogt. She married Jay C. Delp in 1931 and he preceded her in death in 1959. She was married to Clovie Henderson in 1963 and he preceded her in death in 1991.
Lucile is survived by four daughters, Duretta Abbott, Marty Schuler, and Esther Hart all of Davenport, Iowa, Mary Coffman of Exline, Iowa; over 200 grandchildren, grandchildren & great grandchildren, including grandson Clovie Coffman at home with Lucille
Lucile was preceded in death by her two husbands; her parents; three sons, Lester J, Robert D., and Arthur Delp.
She was a member of the Baptist Fellowship on Drake Ave., Centerville
Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday morning September 27, 2004 at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home with Pastor George Ball officiating. Friends may call Sunday from 1 PM until 8 PM with the family present from 6-8 PM at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home . Burial will be in the Rosehill Cemetery in Buffalo, Iowa 1 PM Tuesday with Pastor Paul Winchester officiating. A memorial has been established to Southern Appanoose County 1st Responders or the Baptist Fellowship which can be left at or mailed to Thomas Lange Funeral Home, PO Box 6, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
