Loris Nadine Hayes' Obituary
Loris Nadine Hayes, age 69, of Centerville, Iowa, died Saturday, January 27, 2007 at Golden Age Care Center in Centerville. She was born the daughter of Leland Barnes and Velda Pearl (Sheltz) Bankson on December 13, 1937 in Pinnacle, Colorado. She attended the Mystic Community Schools.Loris was a Fry Cook for the Smoke Shop and the Ritz Cafe both in Centerville, Iowa. She also did some house cleaning as well.She is preceded in death by: her parents; two sisters, Thelma Jacobs and Norma Morelan; and a brother, Stanley Bankson.Loris is survived by: her daughter, Mitzi Kay Jones and her husband, Dwayne of Phoenix, Arizona and a son, Randy Garrison and his wife, Mary of Russell, Iowa; sister, Beatrice Robertson of Brownwood, Texas; ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at 1 pm at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa with Rev. Kay Singley officiating. Burial will follow at the Highland Cemetery west of Mystic, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2007 from 1 pm till 8 pm at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home with the family present from 6 pm till 8 pm.
