I was saddened to hear of Aunt Lorene's passing and want to offer my condolenses to the entire family. I was very sorry to miss the funeral, but unfortunately I didn't hear about it until late Friday morning. Aunt Lorene was always full of life, upbeat, interesting to talk to and interested in everything that was going on. She was my favorite Aunt. I know that she will be greatly missed by the entire family. Don Perkins
Aunt Lorene was always full of surprises! She seemed so cheerful and interested in the family and their activities. She seemed to have many hobbies and excelled in them. The Iowa relatives were happy when she and George came back from the South because the family circle was more complete. Unfortunately, it was impossible to keep up meaningful relationships since we were all so scattered but she was in my thoughts a great deal. She will be missed. Carolyn
Our memories awesome !!! Aunt Lorene and Uncle George were our favorites while growing up ! We spent many summers on thier farm in the summer. ....and they ALWAYS made us ,(as kids) feel like we were important to them, and that they truely 'loved 'us !!!... maybe it was that 'eye contact', or just actually 'listening' to what we had to say, ... but most of all, I think that it was the 'role model that they were to us as a beautiful couple that deeply loved each other !!! aaahhh how refreshing !11 second only to my wonderful parents !!! God is soooo good... we will all be together again someday !1! 'can't wait !' GAYLE
