Lonnie Gene Cunningham's Obituary
Lonnie Gene Cunningham age 72, of Centerville, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Centerville Specialty Care.
Lonnie was born on May 26, 1951 in Centerville, Iowa, the son of Alfred Eugene Cunningham and Lillian Maxine (Clinkenbeard) Cunningham. He graduated from Centerville High School with the Class of 1969. He was united in marriage to Carol Cunningham, and to this union, two children were born, Crystal and Cassie.
Lonnie worked in manufacturing until retirement. In his free time, he enjoyed playing baseball, traveling, working with wood, walking trails, spending time with his family, shopping with his kids and eating ice cream with his granddaughter, Saphia.
Left to honor Lonnie's memory are his wife, Carol Cunningham; his children, Crystal Cunningham (Cody Zugg) and Cassie Cunningham (Troy Hilty); his grandchildren, Talia Cunninham, Saphia Sash, Jamesen Seddon and Ivan Zugg; his sister, Linda Cunningham; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Lillian Cunningham.
Per wishes, cremation has been accorded. A Celebration of life service will take place at 5:00PM, Saturday, October 28, 2023 at the Cincinnati Community Center.
