Lola Walker's Obituary
Lola Walker, age 91 of Centerville died Friday February 2, 2007 at Centerville Nursing and Rehab, Centerville.
Lola was born December 21, 1915, in Exline, IA, the daughter of Pearl and Nettie Smith.
She is survived by four children: Clifford (Janet) Rushton of Des Moines, IA, Donald Rushton of Scottsdale, AZ, Lora (Johnny) Boren of Red Oak, TX, and David Rushton of Wichita, KS, eight grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister; Mildred Gladfelder of Moravia, IA a brother; Elmer Smith of Irving, TX and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; Henry Walker, brothers; Clevie Smith and Volla Smith, sisters; Evelyn Anderson, Lorena Hiatt, and Dorothy Smith, grandson; Larry Hopkins and a daughter-in-law; Zora Rushton.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 30 PM Tuesday February 6, 2007 at the Thomas Lange Funeral Home with Pastor Gerald Campbell officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30 Pm until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery, Centerville. A memorial has been established to Centerville Nursing and Rehab and may be left or mailed to the Thomas Lange Funeral Home, 1900 South 18th St., Centerville, Iowa 52544.
