Lois Catherine Thomas' Obituary
Lois Catherine Thomas passed away Wednesday August 24th at Centerville Nursing and Rehab with Every Step Hospice involvement.
Lois was born October 08, 1935 in Mystic, Iowa to Beulah and Forrest Bills. Lois was joined in marriage to Herbert E. Thomas Sr. in Des Moines, Iowa on July 10, 1954. Lois was the last living of her brothers and sisters. Irene Smith (Richard), Joanne Simatovich, Edward Bills (Shirley), James Bills (Patricia), Elana Carter (Jim).
Lois and Herbert had 4 children, Barbara E. Milburn (Ronnie), Debra K. Walker (Joel), Herbert Thomas Jr. and Carol M. Parker (Terry).
Lois is survived by her children; Barbara E. Milburn (Ronnie), Debra K. Walker (Joel), Herbert Thomas Jr. and Carol M. Parker (Terry). Grandchildren Sarah Anderson (Chris), Heather Brown (Jason), Jennifer Thomas (Eric), Jesse Thomas (Krystle), Russell Clark, Magdelana Walker (Clint), 12 Great-Grandchildren Lexi Conger (Nick), Kaylee Brown, Briana Clark, Jada Wells, Jackson Anderson, Remmie Brown, Triton Thomas, Jersie Ostino, Kabella Thomas, Haylee Hornick, Kannon Thomas, Ila Hornick. Great-Great-Grandchildren Lake Lynn Stevens, Wren Ley Conger.
Lois is proceeded by her parents Beulah and Forrest Bills. Siblings; Irene Smith, Joanne Simatovich, Edward Bills, James Bills, Elana Carter and her husband Herbert E. Thomas Sr.
There will be a celebration of Lois's life on Friday September 2, 2022 at 1 pm at Thomas Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa. A graveside will follow at Elgin Cemetery in Mystic, Iowa. Memorials may be given to the Mystic First Responders and Fire Department.
